I have an informal pond that is 11 x 16. How do I tie the two together? At the present time I do not have a waterfall. I just want to add a simple stream. I’d love to hear some ideas or comments.

Adding onto an existing pond can be simple or complicated depending on what you want and what you already have . The easiest way I know is to get a biofiter up flow water fall unit and some pond liner . The waterfall unit will sit on the ground and is fed from remote pump that should be as far away as possible to create good circulation in the pond . The ground is built up in a slope running down to the pond from the waterfall to support the liner making a stream back to the pond . Making sure that the sides are high enough to keep in the water going down the stream yet still looking natural when landscaping is finished. A pic. is worth a 1000 words so try looking up these products as the manufactures have sample instaltions to look at .
